Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 May 2026

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. festival things uses only the cookies it needs to run the service. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not load third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

What we set

  • Session cookie — set when you sign in, so the site remembers that you're logged in as you move between pages. It's an HTTP-only cookie, scoped to festival-things.com, and it expires when your session expires.
  • CSRF / sign-in helper cookies — short-lived cookies set during the sign-up, email-verification, and sign-in flows to protect against cross-site request forgery and to complete the sign-in process. These are managed by our authentication library (Better Auth).

Third-party cookies

When you're signed in, festival things loads a "Send feedback" widget from EasyCustomerFeedback. The widget may set its own cookies in your browser to remember whether you've dismissed it. The widget is not loaded for signed-out visitors.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, or any other third-party tracking on the site.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block our session cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in to festival things — the service won't work without them.

Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
